Description:

The HR Administrator, Americas will work closely with the Senior Manager of People Operations to ensure the smooth operation of HR initiatives, policies, and processes for our virtual workforce. This role is pivotal in supporting the HR operations for employees across North and South America and ensuring compliance with both local and international labor laws.

Location: North or South America (Remote)
Reports to: Senior Manager, People Operations

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with management and employees to provide HR guidance and support, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Participate in recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with employment laws, ensuring a seamless HR experience for all employees.
  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures that promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Ensure adherence to US state and global employment and labor laws, mitigating risks and maintaining a compliant workplace.
  • Work closely with the global People Operations team to ensure consistency and alignment of HR practices across regions.
  • Drive employee engagement and development initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
  • Address employee inquiries and resolve HR-related issues promptly and effectively.
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to streamline and refine the profiling, phone screening, pre-offer, negotiation, and onboarding process for new hires and internal promotions or transitions.
  • Assist the Senior Manager of People Operations to oversee the timely administration of performance evaluations.
  • Regulate HRIS data, including team member records and information changes such as promotions, terminations, transfers, demographics, headcount, and employment classifications.
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of all people data in the HRIS and ancillary systems.
  • Administer organizational compliance with international, federal, state, and local legislation pertaining to all personnel matters.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent military or professional experience
  • 3+ years’ experience in language quality management
  • Full professional proficiency level in English
  • Thorough understanding of People Operations best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees and management.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Desirable:

  • Relevant certification such as SHRM, PHR/SPHR, PMP, or PMI.
  • Experience working at a startup or rapidly scaling company.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish or Portuguese.
  • Experience with ADP or other PEO providers.
  • Experience working with Global Employers of Record.
