A week ago, the Acclaro team joined GlobalSake for its first annual GlobalSake Conference in San Francisco as a silver sponsor and exhibitor. The event brought together a cross-border, cross-culture community of leaders driving international expansion.
The excitement began with a pre-conference evening networking reception at DZINE Arts Studio and featured Saké tasting, Taiko dance drumming and a live exhibition from artist Yoko Kubrick.
The next day, we joined the localization community for a full day of content around this year’s theme, “Scaling Global Growth Ground Up: How to develop, design and market global-ready products that win adoption in your target markets.”
The day focused on the coming together of quality applied content and meaningful connections from around the globe and understanding customers within the context of their cultural and regional environment. Sessions explored how to build the right-fit, lifetime-value product and marketing experiences to maximize adoption in new markets. And about building it global-ready from the get-go!
Practical cross-functional applied insights were shared throughout the day by speakers from Google, Linkedin, Wix, Airbnb, Netflix, Apple, Zendesk, Udacity, AliPay, Stripe, Pinterest, Bird, Kayak, OpenTable, GoPro, Square, Intuit, Salesforce, NetApp and many more.
