Employee Spotlight: meet Camila Hilale, resource coordinator
We’re excited that Camila Hilale has joined Acclaro as a resource coordinator!
In her new role at Acclaro, Camila will collaborate with our resourcing team on recruiting needs and to improve onboarding and reporting workflows for linguists. She’ll monitor, test and evaluate linguists and coordinate their availability. Camila will also work with our project management team to predict resourcing needs for upcoming client translation work.
Prior to joining Acclaro, Camila held a localization project coordinator position in her most recent role and has worked as a resource coordinator and account specialist. Stints outside of the localization industry include toy maker and English teacher.
Camila’s hobbies and interests
When Camila is not busy resourcing native linguists, she spends her time cooking and gardening. Although she currently has no outdoor garden to speak of, she loves to nurture and maintain a number of houseplants, including lavender and jasmine.
Regarding shows and books, Camila says, “I recently started watching Abbot Elementary. I love the show and the characters. It reminds me of Parks and Recreation and The Office. Regarding books, my favorite is Pride and Prejudice. I haven’t read another book that can top this one.”
Tips for visiting Argentina
Camila lives in Argentina and says that there are wonderful places to visit. Here are Camila’s recommendations:
- San Rafael, Mendoza: There are mountains, lakes and rivers with many options for different activities
- Cuesta Blanca, Córdoba: I love to explore the mountains, rivers and waterfalls here
- Miramar, Buenos Aires: Has the most beautiful beaches in Argentina
- Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego: While I haven’t visited myself, I’ve seen photos. The landscape is beautiful and scenic
