Ben Howdeshell celebrates his 15-year anniversary with Acclaro

We’re thrilled to announce that Ben Howdeshell, Presales Analyst at Acclaro is celebrating his 15-year anniversary with the company.

As an avid language learner, the localization industry was a natural calling for Ben. After graduating from college, he began his career in localization project management. Later, Ben moved on to roles in both inbound and outbound sales. More than 20 years later, Ben has worked for four localization agencies in three cities on two coasts.

Acclaro is the company he’s worked at for the longest amount of time.

At Acclaro Ben gets to bring all of his professional skills to the table and help create project solutions that meet his clients’ needs, especially those who are new to our industry. Ben loves the variety of opportunities he works on. The favorite parts of his job are being part of a larger team that’s always trying to deliver the best solution possible, and getting to “talk language” with colleagues who are also passionate about the mechanics of multilingual communication.

After many years in San Francisco, Ben now lives in the Southern California desert, where he loves to get outside and explore. “It’s Ansel Adams meets Georgia O’Keeffe out here, and it never fails to impress. I also love adding new languages to my roster, and am learning Arabic at the moment,” says Ben.

Ben also loves to travel. He’s visited 14 countries and hopes to visit more soon. According to Ben, “15 years have gone by like 5! I’ve enjoyed learning and growing with Acclaro and can’t wait to see where we go from here.” Congratulations Ben! We’re so glad you’re here.
