Do You Know Ruby on Rails? We Do.

As published in a recent press release, Acclaro is pleased to add Ruby on Rails to our list of web localization specialties. Also known as RoR, Ruby helps provide a more streamlined and browser-friendly development framework, and features customizable plugins, or "gems." It's already taken off with startups who have sophisticated applications and are eager to expand internationally.

We added Ruby to our knowledge suite specifically because of its popularity with global companies (or companies poised to go global soon), who see a lot of benefit when using RoR to design web applications. Our experience with Ruby has already been used with clients such as Square and Threadless, and we've noticed how it really helps make our localization process more straightforward. Aside from our clients, RoR was used to build sites for the likes of Hulu, Basecamp, and Slideshare.

To quote Acclaro Globalization Architect Jon Ritzdorf, knowing as much as we can about Ruby allows us "to deliver cutting edge localization solutions to our web 2.0 and other web application clients." We're pretty excited about being able to offer our knowledge and experience with Ruby. For more information on this or any other of our translation services, contact us today.
