Michael Kriz, President
After fourteen years of localization experience on the buyer and supplier sides, Michael founded Acclaro to provide customized and cost-effective globalization solutions.
Prior to Acclaro, Michael served as vice president of marketing for GlobalWorks, a multicultural marketing company in New York. Previously, as vice president at Lionbridge Technologies, Michael was responsible for developing a worldwide relationship with Nortel Networks, one of the company's top three clients. Michael came to Lionbridge through their acquisition of International Communications (INT'L.com), a software localization firm with clients including HP, Intel, SAP and Microsoft. As a senior manager, Michael helped build International Communications' operations from $2 to $50 million annual revenues. Michael previously co-founded and managed a translation services company in Paris, France that grew to provide services in 12 countries.
Michael holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from Babson College in Wellesley, Mass. He is also a graduate of Tulane University in New Orleans, LA.
Ora Solomon, Vice President, Operations
Ora has over ten years of experience in client service, operations management and relationship marketing. As VP of Operations, Ora is responsible for our clients' satisfaction and for achieving operational excellence.
Prior to joining Acclaro, Ora served as a localization consultant for companies including San Francisco-based DigitalThink and Macromedia. At Netcentives, a relationship marketing company based in San Francisco, Ora headed account management and project management. Before Netcentives, Ora spent 4 years at International Communications (INT'L.com), a localization and globalization firm, where she was Director of Client Services for the Enterprise Applications business group. There she managed localization services for clients such as Hyperion Solutions, Interact Commerce, SSA Global Technologies and Pivotal Software. Ora started her career as an Economist for the Israeli Securities and Exchange Commission in Jerusalem, Israel.
Ora holds an MBA and a BA in Psychology from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. In addition to English, Ora is fluent in Italian, Spanish and Hebrew.
Stephen Gomory, Vice President, Technology
As VP Technology, Steve is responsible for leading technology initiatives including Acclaro’s client portal and job management system. Additionally, Steve works directly with clients on complex technology issues surrounding the globalization of their products and services.
With experience across a wide range of application development environments, using Java and Microsoft technologies for desktop and web applications and over 15 years of experience in technical leadership and management roles with companies that include EMC, Juice Software and IBM, Steve has managed a number of technology implementation projects at clients that include Blue Cross / Blue Shield of Pennsylvania, JP Morgan, Citibank, Bear-Stearns, and the Bank of Montreal. During his time at IBM, Steve developed advanced healthcare and ecommerce solutions at IBM’s Watson Research Center where he co-invented a patented control system for robotic surgery.
Steve received his MS degree in Computer Science from the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences at New York University and a BA degree in Architecture from Columbia University where he additionally pursued post-graduate studies in operations research at Columbia’s Graduate School of Engineering.
